You want to know why go shark hunting when maybe they become instinct because Mediterranean sea have 46 different type sharks and 15 are big dangerous bastards. I find in Mari Tirrenu (between Sicily and Sardinia), Strittu di Missina (between Sicily and Italy), Canali di Sicilia (between Sicily and Tunisia), sandtiger shark, black tip shark, vaccotta, bronze shark, and virdiscu. I also find great white shark in Mediterranean. In 1989, great white shark assassinate Italian scuba diver Luciano Costanzo off Toscana coast in 1989, you think he care he make Luciano instinct? Great white I kill was 5,7 metre and over 2000 kg.
There lots of ways to hunt shark. Some use the rod and reel. I don’t like this method. Why because it take too much work to bring in shark and dangerous when he next to boat and not dead. Hunting shark from the beach is very dangerous because it bring shark to people to hunt. I also no like catch shark to let him escape because this is stupid and very dangerous. Bull isn’t as clever as shark but if he fight matador once and don’t die he become very dangerous because he learn human behavior. If let shark no die he become a better assassin. If I no want to kill shark why go hunting? I hunt shark because I like to kill big animal. Most I like killing big cats but not many in Italy except zoo and they no let you in with rifle to kill animal.
I see Arab hunt shark on youtube using a handline and club.
I never seen this before, this strunzu going to get killed. Mako shark can jump 6 metres out of water and much stronger than he is. One day he pull him into water. You should no put big shark on little boat. I like to hunt shark in little boat, I harpoon the bluefin tuna in the water and tie him to stern boat. He make good shark bait and bleed in water. Some hunter use chum but live bait bleeding in water and splashing is better. It no problem for me if cruel, l no care about fish. He just fish.
I say come to Peitro, he want to assassinate you. I wait shark to come for bluefin tuna and when shark’s head pop out of water, I shoot it with Beretta 455 side-by-side express rifle in the 470 Nitro Express. Kill him head shot every time except one time miss and hit body because shark was too quick. I no want to waste ammo because is very expensive so I kill shark with the harpoon. Then when he dead I leave him in sea for fish to eat. I don’t want to put shark on small boat. I used to chop them in water for trophy or leather jacket but shark have a lot of friends in European parliament who don’t like hunting and make it illegal for me to chop him in the water.
I prefer hunting shark on a menu…
@ Buffoon
I no like eat shark. I like tuna and dolphin better. Rob no like shark hunting either. You like other fishing and hunting?
@ Pietro. You make fun of that Arab but he is hunting sharks because he poor, what’s your excuse? You like to “assassinate” sharks for fun and you openly admit to animal cruelty. You selfish prick.
@ Jenny.
This Arab is no poor fisherman. His boat too small carry 1 shark and he want put on 2 shark and shark one day pull Arab in water and eat him. Arab hunting shark because he like to kill it but he’s a strunzu get him and other Arab killed. Don’t worry too much about animal cruelty for me it no problem. Animal don’t have human rights.
So one Great White Shark kills on Italian diver and your answer to wipe out the entire species. I can’t believe you’re openly advocating making an entire species extinct. Are you whacking sharks for fun or are you waging a personal war against them?
I kill shark for fun but he come extinct it no problem for me. I hunt something else and I no like shark, he big mean bastard who want to kill human people. Shark understand what you and George Bush don’t. Human and fish no coexist in ocean in peace.
@ Petrio. “I used to chop them in water for trophy or leather jacket but shark have a lot of friends in European parliament who don’t like hunting and make it illegal for me to chop him in the water.”
Good to know that not everyone in Europe thinks animal cruelty is acceptable.
@ Pietro. “Most I like killing big cats but not many in Italy except zoo and they no let you in with rifle to kill animal.”
WTF sort of zoo would let you kill their wildlife?
@Genny
“WTF sort of zoo would let you kill their wildlife?”
A good zoo.
Great post. You made a good argument against catch and release that Jenny ignored. I hear that about ammo. Haven’t used 470 Nitro Express myself but I heard it’s over $150 for 20 rounds. I wouldn’t want to be wasting that on a wounded shark either. Ever go bowfishing?
@Ian
I better hunter with rifle or shotgun. Can you do this discipline?
Thank you I happy you like. 470 NE very expensive. This rifle I use to kill big game in Africa I don’t use for killing big cats. People in Italy hunt and fish with the bow and arrow. I did this hunting stag one time and I my aim he very consist. I miss it every time.
@ Peitro
“A good zoo.”
Great answer, we don’t have many idiots like Jenny in Arizona but we still got a lot of idiots in America who want to protect animal rights.
@ Jenny
I don’t care how poor that dumb ass Arab is that is no way to catch sharks.
@ Jenny
This is a pro gun and hunting blog.
Dude, I so want to go shark fishing with you! As long as the boat is big enough to keep the big white from taking it from the water, that’d be fun!
I don’t surf fish, I beach fish into the surf. I fish for game fish, not sharks, but sharks are often caught when fishing for other fish.
We don’t have great whites here in Texas, but we have lots of folks get eaten by other big ones. When I catch a shark, large or small, it gets a bullet (usually a .45 acp) in the head. We have plenty of sharks in the Gulf of Mexico.
I do know one wild arse deep sea fishermen who carries a Barrett .50 caliber rifles with them to do the same thing Pietro does, except normally they don’t go hunting shark specifically, but when one gets up in their Kool Aid and messes with their fishing for billfish or other large gamefish, they’ll throw a fish out there tied to a bouy ad take the shark out sniper style.
That same fisherman keeps a Desert Eagle .50 on the back deck in case he has to dispatch a shark on a customer’s line.
I don’t care for the taste of shark either, but the skin is good for holsters and boots and belts. The teeth make nice necklaces.
PETA = people eating tasty animals.
I mean, aside from agreeing with P’s argument about putting a killer back in the pond, who wants to unhook the bastard.
Fishing, it be very good to go shark fishing with you. I not promise great white but we kill a couple of big sharks. Great white can swim 24 to 40 km/h but can attack at 55 km/h and jump 2,5 metre. This mean he ram boat could put hole in it, but he no ram it because only likes to attack very small boat that moving slowly. He as cautious as hunter killing timid animal like deer or rabbit. He don’t like to attack boat or jetski because it move to fast. HSR-Benelli Series-R Race Edition jetski do 145 km/h.
I don’t think very safe fish shark with rod on small or big boat because he can catapult hunter into water. But some fisherman like to use chair fixed to boat I think this is very necessary with a rod. I prefer no hook shark. To bring him to water with live bait then make shot. One man drive the boat the other shooting behind boat. It not difficult to shoot that range but you don’t know when he going to attack tuna, so must have fast reaction or miss the shot. Boat moving fast too.
“I mean, aside from agreeing with P’s argument about putting a killer back in the pond, who wants to unhook the bastard.”
I laugh. It no problem for Jenny and green people they think shark good friend. They see how friendly shark is when he bite them.
@ el Fish
PETA = people eating tasty animals.
LOL
I’d rather wear fur than go naked
@ Stefania
Very good photo. I like.

@ el Fish
My brother catches game fish from the beach with a rod as well. He gets seasick if he’s not piloting the boat. Personally I don’t see how that makes any difference but there you go. He occasionally lands a small shark and has had a few sharks nick a bluefin tuna or bluefish off his line but he doesn’t try and bring them in. Takes a bit of skill to do that and we’re not allowed to use handguns to hunt. I carry a handgun on the water when I’m on a boat or jet ski. I prefer using a pneumatic speargun to shoot game fish from a jet ski than boat fishing, but I’m not going after sharks on a jet ski.
When my uncle is game fishing he uses a hand line, attached to a spring on the boat as a shock absorber and uses a hand spool but if anything pulls that line to hard, he’ll cut it. When he catches something he uses it as a live bait and sharks soon come. To be honest though for the number of large sharks there are in the Med we don’t have many attacks.
@ Fishy. Do you use live bait too? Shooting sharks isn’t fishing.
@ Ian. So you would rather torture an animal to death than waste $7.50 on a bullet to kill it humanely and you think zoos should open their doors to hunters? You have a lot of morons in the South who need New Yorkers to tell them that animal torture is wrong.
@ Jen
So you agreeing that shooting sharks is humane.
Torture animal no problem if killing it. You should watch bullfight, dogfight, cockfight, hunting with the dog, dog versus the fox, hog, bull or donkey. Animal don’t care about rights. He like kill other animal. You need see a lion, leopard or tiger eat a man before you understand. When Rob set dog on attacker you think it nephew make the dog savage him, you no understand that the dog is greatest love more than sex with bitch is to fight for his master. He want to defend him and want to kill anyone his master no like. A group of dogs kill a lion is no problem for them or for lion because he understand if they no kill him he kill them or worse for them he kill their master. It no problem for dog he dies he just want to kill the lion first.
@ Stefi. We already know you like eating meat… man meat. Women who wear real fur are either dumb or cruel.
@ Jenny
I’ll only have sex with a man in a monogamous relationship, and I wouldn’t be in monogamous sexual relationship for long if he wouldn’t let me do that to him on a regular basis. You probably feel the say way about eating vagina? And in frankly, if you haven’t got anything constructive to add: caccati in mano e prenditi a schiaffi! (Go look it up.)
@ Amica. Shooting animals is a humane way of killing them but killing them is still wrong. Rob admits that sharks don’t attack people much, so why do it? You don’t eat them and you can have leather jackets, belts and shoes made out of cows hides. You don’t have to kill sharks.
@ Pietro. “Torture animal no problem if killing it. You should watch bullfight, dogfight, cockfight, hunting with the dog, dog versus the fox, hog, bull or donkey. Animal don’t care about rights.”
Do you throw donkeys off towers for fun too?
Bullfighting, dogfighting, cockfighting, bear baiting, bull baiting are illegal in America and I don’t think anyione has even thought about donkey baiting you sick mother fucker.
@ Jenny
I don’t know if I did your mother, how much she cost?
@ Pietro. “When Rob set dog on attacker you think it nephew make the dog savage him”
He trains them to do it so yes!
@ Pietro. “A group of dogs kill a lion is no problem for them or for lion because he understand if they no kill him he kill them or worse for them he kill their master. It no problem for dog he dies he just want to kill the lion first.”
So is it no problem for you if a lion or shark eats you?
“So is it no problem for you if a lion or shark eats you?”
It happen, it happen, what you going to do. For me is no problem is risk of hunting dangerous game but I no think it happen.
@ Fish
“I mean, aside from agreeing with P’s argument about putting a killer back in the pond, who wants to unhook the bastard.”
Good point, I’d want it to be very dead when I unhooked it. I didn’t know you could use 45 ACP to kill sharks. How close do you have to get and what size rod do you use?
@ Pietro
I got the Barnett Wildcat C5 crossbow I don’t use it for fishing but I use it hunting. It’s no rifle but it’s accurate. Have you used a crossbow you should give them a try. They’re easier to hunt with than a compound bow.
@ Stefi
Love the photo. Screw PETA and all those idiots nothing wrong in a pretty girl wearing fur.
@ Pietro
“Torture animal no problem if killing it. You should watch bullfight, dogfight, cockfight, hunting with the dog, dog versus the fox, hog, bull or donkey. Animal don’t care about rights.”
I gotta go to Europe.
@ Stefi. Like any guy’s not going to let you give a bj, oh and I’d be happy to eat your pussy.
@ Pietro. My mom’s not a whore. I know I called you a mother fucker but that doesn’t mean “fuck your mother” in America, it means you’re an ass ‘ole.
I saw a documentary the other day about blue fin tuna — in Japan they pay 20,000 U.S. dollars for a choice fish (most sold for $1,000-1,500). They said in the Mediterranean that they rarely reach a fifth of their potential size because of over fishing.
@ Kevin
Overfishing in the Med is one of the reason given for Italy’s strict fishing laws. There are two types of license issued sport and commercial. Sports fisherman are limited in what they can catch and kill. Spearfishing isn’t allowed with scuba, you have to free dive and you’re only allowed 5kg of fish or one fish that weighs over 5kg. One of the reasons that shark hunting has become more popular is because commercial fisherman can’t make any profit out of hunting shark in Italy and they’re quite happy for sports fisherman to target them as long as they’re not luring them into bathing waters.
I like to fish, mostly inland fly-fishing…Never caught a shark though I’ve tried…
@ Kevin
What fish you use to lure him? He like tuna, bluefish, dolphin, seal, marlin, swordfish, spearfish and other shark because he cannibal. I don’t use seal or dolphin unless they dead but shark like living fish best. But you try and catch shark inland he come to wear people play. I think you do that it very necessary that you kill the big ugly bastard and not let him go so he no assassinate people. It no problem if he become extinct. It it good for other fish and people. No one going to miss him except his green friends. Even his lover she no care that he dead. She see his carcass in water she going to eat it because she cannibal like him. I very happy if all shark become extinct. I no like dolphin either seal much nicer. I no like to bring fish home. Anything I catch I give to seal for his dinner. I like play seal when I scuba. He like dog if you no have scuba he think you drown and want to rescue you. He very funny. I no agree with hunting laws but law ban seal hunting no problem for me I no want to hunt him. I want to hunt dolphin and whale but not legal to do this in Europe. They have friends too.
I was targeting small sharks from a pier. I had saw them swarming the night before and the locals told me it was common to catch 2-4 foot long black tip sharks and an occasion small hammerhead from the pier. I spent a couple hours the next night fishing for them using small pinfish for bait but I kept catching catfish instead.
That was actually my only experience fishing on the ocean though I hope to do more of it… Next time I might hire a local to take me out on a boat…
I never hear of anybody hunting dolphins except in Japan.
Pietro…
I glad you don’t want to hunt seals, they’re so cute but why don’t you like dolphins? They’re cute too. What do you mean they rescue you?
Hi guys. I went to Florida for an interview and I got the job. I start in January. I’m going to move before Christmas.
@Heather
Good for you. I’m gonna pay for you a holster at High Noon Holsters, which is in Tarpon Springs Florida, by the way, as a housewarming/CHL “heather just got freedom” gift.
Don’t worry. I’ll send them payment for the holster and you can contact them with your mailing info. I’m not trying to stalk you, but couldn’t be happier for you! Just tell me which gun you plan to carry first…
Welcome to the South!
@ Ian, my friend who kills hogs with his .45 acp is a bowhunter and gets really close in trees and such to his feeders where the big hogs come. He’s a real ninja, at least in his own mind. But he is a real good shot with both bow and firearms. Recently, his feeder cam caught a rather large cat, possibly a mountain lion, that shouldn’t be this far east in Texas. They say they are spreading throughout our state, like deer and hogs, in extra prolific numbers.
@ Pietro
Interesting way to fish. Agree on boat fishing with rods, you do need a chair. And I don’t want the rod strapped to me. I have seen boats that had chairs almost pulled from the deck by large sharks.
When surf fishing, I don’t go fishing for sharks, but lots of guys do. They kayak their bloody dead baits way out from shore. Some use RC boats to take their baits way out, just beyond the last sandbar where the big guys cruise.
We catch sharks by mistake. Sometimes they go for our bait, and sometimes they eat the fish we are reeling in. In any event, we beach it and shoot it.
I haven’t dived in years, but once was a scuba diver. We carried “bang sticks” which are pretty cool weapons in themselves. Basically a gun barrel with a 12 gauge that when you push on something, like a shark, it goes bang into whatever you’re pushing on. Close range. Some of the folks that fish for sharks use bangsticks instead of guns.
Folks that are out of touch with nature and the laws of nature don’t understand any of these things about animals and the law of the jungle. If you’ve ever been hunted by man or beast, you understand these things.
That’s why I like this blog.
Thanks for the pic, S.
@ el Fish
Too right. When I say killing a man feels no different to killing an animal a lot of people don’t like it. But killing is killing. You learn that in the army . I think that hunting is very good combat training. Anyone who gets sentimental about killing a deer is likely to hesitate pulling the trigger in self-defence too. Being able to kill without hesitation is far more important than your accuracy down the range. A lot of people don’t get that.
Jenny…
I wouldn’t want to go hunting, but fishing is different, no? I would like to go boat fishing. I don’t like the idea of hunting mammals so I don’t do it but hunting is part of conservation, no? I eat meat too. You can’t ban everything you don’t agree with Jenny and really you need to calm down.
You’ll get lots of chances to do all kinds of warm and sunny boat fishing soon, Heather, in your new abode. Florida is for sure a “fishing crazy” state and a great place to fish.
@ El Fish
I’ve never really enjoyed fishing with a rod my brother likes it but I prefer spearing them from a jet ski. I don’t even really like spear fishing when I’m diving because you’re up and down like a yoyo and even in camouflage you can’t creep up on them.
@ Fishing
Thanks, that’s really nice
I’m really excited about the move. I’m not sure what I’m going to carry yet. I might carry my 642CT because it’s easier to conceal than the FNP-9 but the FNP-9 and it carries more ammo and I’m quicker reloading with it. I shoot a little bit better with the 642CT but I’m not real good at the immediate action and remedial action drills yet.
Carry both Heather. Reaching for a second weapon is quicker than reloading and if you ever have a malfunction you’ve got a back up. After the Atlanta Games me and Stef went to Florida. I went swimming and jet skiing in the Gulf of Mexico — no one warned us about any sharks — we visited Panama City Beach (nice beach), Miami, and Key West. We also visited Myrtle Beach, New Orleans, Baton Rouge and drove through Mississippi and Alabama but didn’t stop because they looked like shit ‘oles. We went to Havana via boat from Key West because there are no direct flights unless you want to charter a plane, then we stayed there for a week. You can’t go back to America from Cuba (legally anyway). To be honest I wouldn’t want to visit Georgia or South Carolina again but Florida and Louisiana were great. We never did Texas or Arizona but those are genuinely two states that I wanted to visit along with Nevada, but I don’t think my old Ma would be too happy if I took my sister to a strip club or casino in Vegas.
Let me know when you decide. The temps in Florida, being like Texas, are often hot and humid. Although I often would prefer to carry a .45 or a hi cap 9mm, the Model 38 Bodyguard often gets the job because it’s so concealable, and it’s a viable defensive caliber.
When it’s hot and t-shirts and shorts are the order of the day, a nice J frame works much better than other guns.
But it’ll be the freedom to decide these things for yourself that you’ll enjoy most, I suspect, and that freedom will make you feel less vunerable than living in NY.
Cool for you. Sounds like an adventure.
el Fish, bang sticks are illegal over here or they are for diving anyhow. Do they work? Have you heard of the Australian buddy system? They cut their dive partner if they see a shark. Italy standard procedure is to go back to back and shoot them in the face with a speargun, supposedly that will deter them — not sure that would bother a great white but if it’s attacking at speed velocity and mass it’s going to penetrate. They also advise not to attack it until you know it’s going to attack you because they might leave you alone.
@ Rob. You wear camouflage? WTF the sea’s blue dumb ass. Training to kill without hesitation, how old were you when one of your psycho relatives taught you that important life lesson?
@ Jen
The sea might be blue but fish and rocks aren’t though are they.
@ Rob. ” They also advise not to attack it until you know it’s going to attack you because they might leave you alone.”
You needed someone to advise you not to attack a Great White when you’re spear fishing? Have you never seen Jaws?
@ Jen
Crap film if you watch it now but it scared the shit out of me when I was a kid.
@ Heather. We’ve got to go for drinks before you leave NYC. I hope you like Florida more than NY. What city are you going to live in?
@Jen
You two are friends?!!
@ Tex. “Folks that are out of touch with nature and the laws of nature don’t understand any of these things about animals and the law of the jungle. If you’ve ever been hunted by man or beast, you understand these things.”
Okay Tarzan, you know more about the animals than me but that doesn’t mean you have the right to kill them. Do you really think it’s okay to hunt dolphins and whales? Pietro couldn’t give a shit about nature, he just enjoys animal cruelty and Ian says he would like to see dog fight and bull fights. What have they got to do with nature?
@ Amica
+ 1 for that frickin’ question!
@ Fish
I think their friends in Jen’s mind
@ Jen
If there were more Texans in NYC, there would be a lot of dead hoodlems. My favorite New Yorker of all time is Bernard Geotz. And look how your lovely city treated him. In Houston or Dallas they would have had a parade for him.
@ Amica. We’re blog friends. If you ever come to NYC I hope you would look me up. Same with Tex and Ian.
@ Jen
But I don’t like you… no offence.
@ Jenny
I read your comments and I think you must be fascist. Wake up and smell the roses, you either kill the shark or the shark kill you. You really are a hypocrite because you are more a shark than you realize. Everybody on this website knows that you are an insecure, anti-American, anti-Semitic, pro-jihad, bigoted sociopathic little bitch, and that’s ok, we still like you for it. And still you say we are bad. Shame on you, little girl. You need to go to the ocean and relax, make friends. Some sea men will make you feel better. Maybe El Fishing will take you out on his boat.
Love the site! Excellento! Very informative and sometimes entertaining.
@ Jenny
Yeah lets do that and if you ever come to Arizona I’ll take you on a hunting or fishing trip and then for drinks at a sports bar.
@ Jen
Yeah, we can go hunt hogs and butcher the small ones (the ones good to eat) ourselves. It’s easy, I’ll show you how. For a real treat, we can watch the meatman make sausage. Now that’s a treat!
Then we’ll get drunk as Cooter Brown (taking taxis of course) at any number of legendary Texas watering holes.
I want to try Pietro’s tactic of fishing for sharks with a rifle on the Alligator Gar that live in several of the large rivers and in brackish water near the bays. They run from 100 lbs up, the bigger ones do, and I have friends who bow fish for them.
Their meat is worthless and really, the only good gar is a dead ‘un. But I figure a 30-30 or a .357 would do nicely on them. They roll on the surface and inhale air, so they are always coming up topside which makes for easy shooting.
I have a receipe for Gar. Marinate in a fifth of Jack Daniels for 24 hours, throw the fish away and drink the marinade, although if you think about it, actually doing that would just ruin good whiskey.
@Pietro
This is a little off topic, but I noticed you mentioned you use a Beretta 455 double rifle. A friend of mine here in the U.S.A. is considering an over and under drilling in 12 gauge shotgun and 6.5 X 55 mauser. He mentioned that the maker is Antonio Zoli. In your opinion, How is their quality? Would you judge their workmanship better than Beretta? While the gun sounds nice, I almost feel it is a little heavy to be a good shotgun, and a little akward to be a decent rifle. What do you think?
@ Wyatt
Pietro Beretta better better but Antonio Zoli make the good rifle. Angelo Zoli no so good but if your friend want buy Antonio Zoli SP Safari 12/ 6,5 X 55 rifle e shotgun is very good calibre. Can use as sniper and used to use him in biathlon too. This sport invented for the Alpine sniper. I like you think the rifle and shotgun is no so good either shotgun or rifle but some hunter prefer him because he can be both of them and no need to change. Beretta 455 very expensive but I no buy Lamborghini or Ferrari, I love gun more than auto.
I wish I could afford an off-hand purchase of a nice double rifle. I have no use for one at all. I was talking with a friend about reasonably priced rifles we’d like to have, and we both agreed that the Marlin Guide 45-70 is about as much as we can justify spending for a large caliber weapon to hunt hogs with.
Sometimes, even a .30-06 isn’t enough to bring a big fellow down. They move quick sometimes, and live animals don’t always stand still. A less than optimum hit that will ultimately bring them down with a .30-06 could be a better stop with a larger caliber, or so we hypothesize.
What caliber do you recommend, Rob, Stefi, Amica and Pietro, in what reasonably priced guns? Reasonable being under $2k.
Please also factor in that in the States, any wildcat caliber or unusual caliber is going to be hard to find ammo for right now, and expensive when you do. I don’t reload, nor am I likely to begin. I’ve done it, and it’s not my thing. I could do it if I had to, and that’s a good skill for any shooter to know for a multitude of reasons.
It’s our Thanksgiving week here. Happy Thanksgiving to all who observe, and for those who don’t have a great week.
@El Fishing
Good calibre for hog 8×57 JRS. I think for $2K you could buy Zastava LK M98 or DIO Nakhjir 3. I hope you have good Thanksgiving. We no have this in Italy, we have days for Saints and All Saints Eve. I think maybe Americans have just one day but because in wild west life very tough for colonists. They can’t stop work for all holidays back in Europe. I no went to school, my mama teach me read and write but I never like and don’t do too much reading but I learn about wild west from westerns.
@ Rick. All religions are bullshit and I could care less whether my ancestors were expelled from Judea 2000 years ago. That’s anti-Semitic how?
FYI I’m not a little girl, I’m a full figured woman and yes I have opinions and I’m argumentative.
@ Jenny
Curvaceous sounds better than full figured but if you’re really okay with your weight why don’t you describe yourself as fat? I don’t think anyone has an issue with you expressing an opinion, I think it’s the self-righteous feminist, hoplophobic and pacifist claptrap that’s annoying.
hoplophobic?
@ Ziu
Hoplophobia is an irrational dislike of firearms and homophobia is a rational dislike of perverts.
@ Pietro. I’ve looked up the price of that gun on Beretta USA website, to see what you think is very expensive. I was expecting maybe $10k but a $110k!!!!! You got to be kidding me, who spends that sort of money on a gun?
@ Jen
Someone who can afford one!
@ Jen
What you want to know for? You not going to buy him because you hate everything gun and violence. Maybe this your belief but what some strunzu try rape you. I think Moses or Ben Hur or other famous one say “time for talk, and time for killing”. Better for you to have a gun and knife to do the violence to him. This my belief.
@ Ziu
It’s Qohelet, Ecclesiastes 3:3 “tempus occidendi et tempus sanandi tempus destruendi et tempus aedificandi” (“A time to kill, and a time to heal. A time to destroy, and a time to build.”)
Moses or Ben Hur
@ Pietro. You watched westerns instead of going to school. LOL. That explains why you’re such a gun nut. Why didn’t you go to school?
My Papa and Mama no want me waste time at school. I go Church instead and I learn to hunt, skin animal, fight with knife, stick and gun and best way to do assassination and I work with my Papa.
Jen…
Thanks for the offer. I’m sorry I didn’t have the time.
Pietro…
Your English is hundred times better than my Spanish, so your Mom must have been a good teacher and you learned life skills, they’re important too. Did you do boxing and wrestling too?
Amica…
You really know the Bible well, huh? Do you go to Church?
Fish…
Shooting aligator gar sounds fun. Have you ever had ribs with Hooters buffalo wing sauce and chased it down with Jack Daniels on the rocks?
No to the former and yes to the latter. I have chased down many things with J.D. Black.
We like Jack Daniels so much down here that I once played in a band called Lem Motlow. When I asked them about it, they told me the story. He was the nephew of the childless Jack Daniels and inherited the company and made it great.
I lust for a bottle of post-prohibition Jack Daniels. When prohibition ended, they didn’t have time to age the whiskey in casks, they had to get it out to the waiting market. So it was clear, and not brown. When we graduated law school, one of my classmates had a bottle, and we drank it.
And it was good.
It’s amazing I’m a lawyer, could never really understand algebra, yet have tucked away in my brain all sorts of minute trivia such as Lem Motlow.
You drink JD when you eat? In Sicilia we have wine for food, grappa after food, Averna Limoni di Sicilia or Averna Mandarini di Sicilia after caffè and in the night we have something like amaro or sambuca. Amaro Averna best amaro they make here in Nissa and they make sambuca. I like Averna sambuca anice stellato but more I like Sambuca Extra Molinari but Amica likes more to drink JD or Tyrconnell Madeira Irish whisky.
@Jenny I am relatively new to this forum, and have read some of your posts with much interest. I deduce that you don’t like guns, nothing wrong with that if it is your belief, but I was wondering if you could possibly answer two questions.
1. Have you ever fired a gun? Not hunting necessarily, just target shooting, skeet shooting or shooting sports in general?
2. I am sure the Police Respose time in New York is very good. Here in the rural areas of East Tennessee, it takes the cops a minimum of two hours to respond to calls. If someone is breaking into your home (it happens a lot more than it used to) and you don’t have gun, you will end up in the Hospital or the Morgue. I have many Liberal Friends who don’t own guns (despite my attempts to arm them), but wish me not to tell anyone for fear that the local criminal element will target them. Some of them even put NRA and “Protected by Smith and Wesson” Bumper stickers on their cars” even though they refuse to own a gun. Do you believe that people in this area of the country should not own guns? Do you feel we have a right for self-defense? If not, then what do people here do? (Especially those living alone?)
I wait patiently for your answer. (By the Way you have a pretty Smile)
“Protected by Smith and Wesson” I like this slogan.
Here’s a link to a shark attack off Egypt

El Fishing. I see. What Jenny and other friends sharks got to say now? Pietro what you want to hunt shark for he no problem for people. Shark evil bastard. I see they say shark bad for tourism but I think no problem. Stefi could sell lot boat trip in Egypt to go shark hunting, she very clever like my Mama, she taught my Papa, me and my sisters to read and write. Lot of people no read or go to school in Sicilia at that time. In America I think most the people went to school and read?
Pietro…
I’m a JD or Tequlia girl. I drink beer and wine too but you know I’ve never had grappa, amaro, sambuca or Tyrconnell Madeira. I’ve drunk Jameson whiskey but I prefer JD.
JD Black. It’s an institution in Texas. I am not the wine drinker I should be, but appreciate fine wine with a meal or an after dinner drink. I do like grappa.
Here’s another saying you might like:
“God created man, but Sam Colt made them equal.”
“It no problem for me if cruel, l no care about fish. He just fish.”
Fish don’t feel pain. they have no pain receptors. That’s a fact.
Also… shark doesn’t taste very nice.
Another also… the water is the shark’s domain. If you’re going to walk into a man’s house without his permission, expect him to use one of his ten knives or a gun.
@ Rezbi
Ha ha
Thankfully, shark attacks are infrequent in the Med.
Great woman. Honest compliments from here in Switzerland. Very hard to find women with interest of guns, hunting, sports and cleverness too. Very , very rare to find !!! Best regards: Bruno
@ Bruno
Thanks, I actually go hunting in Switzerland some time. You know Campione d’Italia? We have a property there.
