Krav Maga Exposed

Imi Lichtenfeld is credited with founding krav maga, the Israeli H2H combat system taught to the IDF. According to the offically Israeli account, Lichtenfeld supposedly developed his fighting system in Bratislava in the late 30s and then started teaching it to the Haganah terrorist organisation, when he arrived in British Mandatory Palestine in 1942.

But that’s Israeli propaganda, Lichtenfeld was teaching was the British H2H combat system developed by William E. Fairbairn and Eric Sykes known as defendu. The name krav maga was only offically adopted by the IDF in 1973.  

Now obviously, not many ardent Zionists will want to admit that krav maga is a rip-off of an old British army system. So here’s some video evidence.

So anyone training in krav maga has got to ask themselves if this system was so good, why was it dropped by the British and American military.
